He’s the one who courted you. He should prove you that he’s worthy to be called your boyfriend. Just because you’re officially called couples already doesn’t mean that he should stop showing you that he cares. He should still say that he loves you and that you’re still the one he wants after a long time. If you feel that your relationship is slowly fading, show him that you’ll fight for it together. But if he disagrees, he doesn’t love you anymore.
